How Teen Patti works

Players receive three face-down cards. A player may continue blind without looking at the cards or become a seen player after viewing them. The round continues through permitted bets and actions until players fold or the remaining hands are compared.

Boot amounts, blind limits, side-show eligibility and show conditions can differ between tables and apps.

Before joining a table

  • Check whether A-K-Q and A-2-3 are both permitted sequences.
  • Read blind and seen stake limits.
  • Confirm side-show and show conditions.
  • Understand the fold action and session limits.
  • Treat random results as entertainment, not income.

Blind and seen play explained

A blind player continues without viewing the three cards. A seen player has viewed the cards and usually follows a different chaal requirement. The exact amount a player may place and how long blind play can continue depend on the table rules.

Looking at the cards changes the available information, not the randomness of the deal. A strong-looking hand can still lose to a higher-ranked combination.

Show, side show and fold

A show compares the remaining eligible hands and ends the round under the table’s conditions. A side show is a separate comparison request that may be available between seen players. It can be accepted or refused depending on the format.

Folding ends the player’s participation in the current round. It can be the clearest way to respect a preset session or spending limit.
